Ventura County's Consumer Confidence Survey, 2000-2004

In these surveys, we have continued to monitor the consumer confidence trends of Ventura County's residents by measuring their overall sentiment, intentions to buy big-ticket items, and feelings toward job security and employment opportunities. In addition we have made measurements in the areas such as affordability of housing, quality of life, and public education. The survey focused on the level of consumer confidence regarding residents' own financial situation, their level of confidence in the Ventura County economy during the upcoming year, and their level of confidence in the Ventura County economy over the next five years.
