Profile

As of Fall 2011, Dr. McCambridge is an Adjunct Professor of Education at California Lutheran University and at California State University, Northridge.

As an Associate Professor of Education at CLU from 1998 to 2011, Dr. McCambridge was the Coordinator of the Single Subject Program, taught Foundations and Methods classes, supervised student teachers, and advised master's theses in the Department of Teacher Education.

In the Ed.D. program, he taught Historical and Philosophical Foundations of Educational Leadership, the Colloquium in Principles-Based Educational Leadership, The Research Seminar: The Literature Review, The Research Seminar: Proposal Defense, and advised dissertations.

Dr. McCambridge's school experience includes almost thirty years of teaching English and history and serving as an administrator in parochial and independent secondary schools.

His research and writing are in the role of liberal education in public schools, moral education in public schools, and the importance of principles-based educational leadership in public schools.
